The Scottish Rugby Vodafone Scotland WXV Series Prize Draw is organised by Scottish
Rugby Limited.
When you enter this Prize Draw, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
1. The Promoters
The Promoters of this Prize Draw are:
(a) Scottish Rugby Limited, a company incorporated in Scotland with registered number
SC132061 and having its registered office at Murrayfield, Edinburgh EH12 5PJ
(“
Scottish Rugby”)
(b) Marriott International Inc, 7750 Wisconsin Avenue, Bethesda, Maryland 20814, USA,
trading as Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa (the “
Sheraton”)
together, Scottish Rugby and Sheraton are the “
the Promoters”.
2. The Prize Draw and how to enter
2.1. These Terms and Conditions apply to the “
Scottish Rugby Vodafone Scotland
WXV Series Prize Draw” running on the Sheraton’s website and being promoted
on the social media channels of the Promoters (“
the Prize Draw”).
2.2. To enter the Prize Draw, Entrants must have click the link on the Sherton’s website
to enter the Prize Draw and enter their email address, name and postcode. Any entries
submitted to the Promoters in any other manner or medium will be disqualified from the
Prize Draw. Only one entry per person is permitted.
2.3. The opening date for Prize Draw entries is 25 August 2026 at 00:01. Entries must
comply with the conditions set out in conditions 2.2 and 3 and any entries that do not
comply (in the sole opinion of the Promoters) will be disqualified from the Prize
Draw.
2.4. The Prize Draw will close on 6 September 2026 at 23:59 (“
the Closing
Date”). Entries received after the Closing Date will be automatically
disqualified from the Prize Draw.
2.5. The Promoters accept no responsibility for entries not successfully completed,
lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for
example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical fault, technical malfunction,
computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any
kind.
2.6. One (1) winner will be chosen on 7 September 2026 by electronic draw.

2.8. By submitting a Prize Draw entry, you are agreeing to (a) be bound by these Terms
and Conditions; (b) to enter the Prize Draw; (c) if you are a winner, to your name and
image being recorded and published for promotional purposes by the Promoters or its
authorised representatives and to allow the Promoters to comply with its obligations set
out at conditions 5.4 and 5.5.
3. Eligibility
3.1. An “
Entrant” is a person submitting an entry to the Prize Draw, in
accordance with condition 2.2.
3.2. The Prize Draw is not open to employees of the Promoters or their immediate family
or any third party directly associated with the administration of the Prize Draw.
3.3. Entrants must be over 18 years old and resident in the United Kingdom.
3.4. In entering the Prize Draw, the Entrant confirms that they are eligible to do so
and to claim the Prize (as defined in condition 4 below) if they are a winner. The
Promoters may require Entrants to provide proof that they are eligible to enter the
Prize Draw.
3.5. The Promoters will not accept Prize Draw entries that are:
a) automatically generated by computer;
b) completed by third parties or in bulk;
c) illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with;
d) photocopies and not originals; or
e) incomplete.
4. The Prize
4.1. The winner will receive:
4.1.1. two tickets to the Vodafone Scotland WXV Series Scotland v New Zealand women’s
rugby match played at Hive Stadium, Edinburgh on Saturday 19 September 2026, kick off at
5.10pm; and
4.1.2. overnight accommodation for two (2) people on Saturday 19 September 2026 at the
Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa, together with breakfast the following morning in One Square
and access to the Sheraton Club Lounge and One Spa;
together “
the Prize”.
4.2. The Prize does not include transport, food and drink (outwith that stated),
spending money, tax or other personal expenses. Any other costs incurred in addition to
those set out above and that are incidental to the fulfilment of the prize are the
responsibility of the winner.
4.3. The Prize is non-transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
4.4. The Prize shall be supplied by the Promoters.
4.5. The Promoters reserve the right to replace the Prize with an alternative prize of
equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoters’ control make it necessary
to do so.
4.6. The decision of the Promoters regarding any aspect of the Prize Draw is final and
binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
5. Notification of winning entry
5.1. The winner, selected in accordance with condition 2.6, will be notified by email on
7 September 2026 that they are a winner. The Prize or instructions on how to receive the
Prize will be sent to the winner by the Promoters within 24 hours of being notified of
their win.
5.2. If a winner does not respond to the Promoters within twenty four (24) hours of
being notified by the Promoters or if a winner is unable to accept any element of the
Prize due to ineligibility, the Prize in its entirety will be withdrawn and the
Promoters will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process set
out at condition 2.6.
5.3. The Prize may not be claimed by a third party on behalf of a winner.
5.4. The Promoters must either publish or make available information that indicates that
a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation Scottish Rugby will send the
surname and county of the winner to anyone who writes to Scottish Rugby at the address
set out in condition 1 (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the
Closing Date of the Prize Draw.
5.5. If you object to either or both of your surname and, county being published or made
available, please contact Scottish Rugby at
[email protected]. In such circumstances,
the Promoters will not provide the information to members of the public, but must still
provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority (“ASA”) on request by the
ASA, to comply with our legal obligation to do so.
6. Data protection
6.1. As part of submitting an entry to the Prize Draw, Entrants are required to submit
certain personal details, including their name, email address and postcode.
6.2. The legal basis for which the Promoters will collect personal data in respect of
Entrants are (i) its legitimate interest of administering the Prize Draw, and (ii) to
comply with its legal obligations in respect of Prize Draw.
6.3. The Promoters will use the personal data of Entrants as follows:
6.3.1. to contact the winner and to send the Prize to them;
6.3.2. to contact an alternative winner and to send the Prize to them if a winner cannot
be contacted within a reasonable time; and
6.3.3. to comply with the legal obligation to provide the winners’ surname and county in
response to requests for this information from third parties, subject to conditions 5.4
and 5.5.
6.4. The Promoters will comply with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the UK General Data
Protection Regulation when collecting and otherwise processing personal data in
connection with this Prize Draw. Any such personal data will be processed in accordance
with the

7. General
7.1. These Terms and Conditions and this Prize Draw are governed by the laws of
Scotland. By entering into this Prize Draw each Entrant agrees to submit to the
exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
7.2. Entrants to the Prize Draw are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by
these Terms and Conditions upon entry to the Prize Draw.
7.3. The Promoters reserves the right to disqualify any Entrants that breach these Terms
and Conditions or any entries that, in the sole opinion of the Promoters, are in any way
obscene, violent, abusive, discriminatory, defamatory, fraudulent or otherwise unlawful
or would damage the reputation of the Promoters. Where the Promoters disqualifies any
Entrants in accordance with this condition 7.3, the Promoters shall remove any affected
entries from the Prize Draw.
7.4. The Promoters reserve the right to cancel this Prize Draw at any time. The
Promoters reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions without notice by
posting changes to
Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa, Edinburgh | 5-Star Luxury Spa Hotel in
Edinburgh. The Promoters will only notify Entrants of changes if required to do
so by law.
7.5. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoters, its agents or distributors will not
in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate any Entrant or accept any
liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of
entering the Prize Draw or taking up the Prize except where it is caused by the
negligence of the Promoters or that of its employees, agents or distributors. Your
statutory rights are not affected.
